Ship - lifting device Henrichenburg, Waltrop
 

Although the ship -lifting device belongs to Waltrop, it has got the name of Henrichenburg, a part of Castrop - Rauxel.

The altitude line of 45 feet couldn´t be mastered by a normal lock.

The picture shows the eldest ship - lifting device of 1899, two more ship - lifting devices were builded.
 
Using the left tower you will get up, than you can cross the lifting device
at the top, and than you can go downstairs in the right tower.

it was superseedet by a high tech device.
